The PCA has scheduled two membership meetings this fall. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 21st and Tuesday, November 16th.
The relentless rains and volatile weather bombarding the Chicagoland area within the last week led to two segments airing on NBC Channel 5 on June 25 on sump pumps and plumbing preventative measures to avoid household water damage. PCA Officer and member Brian Kennedy (Gehrett Plumbing, Inc.) was interviewed by on-air reporter Chris Coffey, and the link to the 4pm newscast segment can be viewed here and the 6pm segment can be viewed here. Kudos and thanks to Brian for his professional advice and help, and for expertly representing the PCA of Greater Chicago on our local TV news.
The PCA has scheduled two Zoom meetings for members. Coming up this fall will be an interview with Matt Beaudet, Commissioner with the City of Chicago's Department of Buildings and in October, Brian Cox, Plumbing & Water Quality Program Manager of the IDPH Illinois Plumbing Program will join us.
